Where would we be in this world if we didn't have friends? I am very fortunate to have the kind of friends I have. I will always have my old friends and even found some new! I would like to say "Thank You for being a friend" (in the Golden Girls theme song voice)
I found this poem that I would like to send out to all my friends:
A Friend Is Like A Flower...
A friend is like a flower -- a rose to be exact,
Or maybe like a brand new gate --that never comes unlatched
A friend is like an owl, both beautiful and wise
Or perhaps a friend is like a ghost, whose spirit never dies.
A friend is like those blades of grass -- you can never mow,
standing straight, tall, and proud -- in a perfect little row
A friend is like a heart that goes --strong until the end.
Where would we be in this world -- if we didn't have a friend.

Well, as the title says, here we go...... I am going to try this blogging thing and see if I can keep up with it on a regular basis. Most of my blogs will be about my family and friends, Mark and Trey's racing career with OCCRA (Oklahoma Cross Country Racing Association) and photographs I have taken, sounds kind of boring huh!
To start off, here is a little bit about my family: I am a 32 year old happily married mother of a 11 year old boy. I work at the local community college and my husband works on the air force base. Trey will be in 6th grade this year, man time sure flies!
Keep checking back to see if there are any new post.
